Multiple Grammy-winning producer, musician, and songwriter, RedOne, has become one of the most successful and sought after record producers and songwriters in the world. His work has earned more than 55 international hit singles in the past three years, including 28 (and counting) #1 singles, and is continuing to watch his work garner more chart-topping accolades with Nicki Minaj, Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, Usher, Quincy Jones, Enrique Iglesias, Nicole Scherzinger, Mary J Blige, Alexandra Burke, Mohombi, Cheb Khaled, Maylene Farmer and many more!

“Very rarely does a producer come along that can move the needle on popular culture. RedOne’s impact on international music has been an incredible thing to watch,” – Jimmy Iovine

RedOne won a Grammy in 2010 for Poker Face with Lady Gaga off of her The Fame album, which RedOne produced and co-wrote 7 songs including 5 back-to-back hit singles. In 2011, he garnered another Grammy for Best Pop Album for his production on Lady Gaga’s The Fame Monster. He has earned yet another GRAMMY nomination this year for his producing credits on Lady Gaga’s Born This Way album.

RedOne was also named BMI’s Songwriter of the Year, Billboard’s Producer of Year and #1 Songwriter. The Swedish Music Publishers Association also awarded RedOne with multiple distinguished awards including, Composer of the Year, Song of the Year (“Bad Romance”), Most Played Song of the Year (“Bad Romance”).

RedOne’s uncanny ability to discover and break new talent has made a name for himself as one of the industry’s leading and most innovative producers – known for creating new sounds and memorable melodies that help launch new artists and that revive established artists’ careers. He is often credited among his peers as the “architect of sound.”

In 2010, he established his own record label, 2101 Records, a joint venture with Universal Music. Swedish-Congolese artist Mohombi and Rock/Pop fusion artist Porcelain Black are among the first talents on 2101 Records. Many of these acts have seen their debut work topping sales and radio airplay charts domestically and internationally. Mohombi’s videos has amassed over 55 million views with multiple #1 singles around the world, and Porcelain Black continues to receive critical acclaim for her live performances. Three additional new talent have been recently added to the label: Australian singer/DJ Havana Brown who’s multi-platinum single “We Run The Night” featuring Pitbull on her new “When The Lights Go Out” EP broke Billboard Pop Songs chart record and was performed live on NBC’s America’s Got Talent. His independent rising rock/hip-hop group 7 Lions’ hit single “Born 2 Run” on their new “Born 2 Run” EP has had placements on MLB, The Australian Open, NFL, Breeder’s Cup, National Geographic, CSE Marathons and NASCAR. And pop music group Talkback, comprised of 3 siblings from Ohio, recently released their new hit single Laugh Laugh.

In 2011, RedOne produced several tracks off of Lady Gaga’s album, Born This Way, selling more than 15 million albums and 51 million in single downloads between Born This Way, The Fame and the The Fame Monster releases. 2010 singles include, Nicole Scherzinger’s “Poison”, Enrique Iglesias’ “I Like It” featuring Pitbull, and Usher’s “More” among others helped fuel a Grammy nomination in 2011. Additional chart topping singles include Enrique Iglesias’ “Dirty Dancer”, Lady Gaga’s “Judas”, Midnight Red’s “One Club At A Time” and “Hell Yeah”, and Pitbull ft. Marc Anthony “Rain Over Me”, to name a few.

More recently, RedOne has seen success with his chart topping singles “Starships” and “Pound The Alarm” on Nicki Minaj’s platinum certified album “Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded”. He has also crafted career surging hits ”Dance Again”, “On The Floor” and “Papi” with Jennifer Lopez, and led as Executive Producer on her album Love?. Overall, his hits have received over 100 million downloads and more than 4 billion video views online.

He has also contributed his time and talent to several charity recordings including producing (with Quincy Jones) “We Are The World 25 for Haiti” and “Bokra” and recording “Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door” with his brother, Nabil Khayat, for Chimes of Freedom – a celebratory tribute to 50 years of Bob Dylan and Amnesty International.

His success has not happened overnight, but his unique sound is making lasting marks in the world of music and has moved the dial on American radio and radio stations worldwide. So what’s next?

“I don’t want to say [what’ s next] because you always want to shock people,” he explained. “And you don’t want to let people know, so that when they hear it, [they say], ‘Oh my God.’ “ – RedOne

In addition to RedOne’s music successes, he is also focusing his efforts on his 2101 Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to helping youth with big dreams and to inspire and motivate young people to pursue their passion in life through sports, music, arts and education.
